A cabinet meeting held today in Gandhinagar has taken an important decision to permanently recruit as many as 7,500 teachers in the state’s secondary and higher secondary government and grant-in-aid schools in the next three months.
For this, permanent recruitment of TAT-Secondary and TAT-Higher Secondary pass candidates will be done in government and grant-in-aid schools of the state. The recruitment process of TET-1 and TET-2 candidates will also be conducted soon.
A total of 3,500 TAT-Secondary passed candidates will be recruited for Secondary i.e. 500 in government schools of Class 9 and Class 10 and 3,000 in Grant-in-Ed schools.
While in higher secondary i.e. 750 in government schools and 3,250 in grant-in-aid schools, a total of 4,000 candidates of TAT-Higher Secondary will be recruited in class 11 and class 12.
